Digital Media Manager

Reporting to Director Group Digital & Theatrical Media

Role Purpose

  • Develop online media strategy and develop online media plan for all WB pictures, local productions and home video releases
  • Support Home video, Games and Digital Distribution for all online media plans
  • Develop Big Data strategy for all line of businesses, establish 2nd and 3rd party partnership
  • Supervise programmatic strategy and related kpi
  • Define online performance adv strategy (budget, channel mix, seasonality, etc.) to reach targets across all BU/segments
  • Set the right KPIs for the evaluation of online media activities, based on business/communication objectives
  • Establish and execute measurement of all online media campaigns, social campaigns, programmatic campaigns.
  • Coordinate media agency to guarantee media plan execution in line with the agreed strategy, campaign performance monitoring and optimizations
  • Lead media buying strategy and negotiations of digital media
  • Review and analyze campaigns and competitive activities, based on defined KPIs, supported by the media agency;
  • Test new capabilities to continuously improve media effectiveness and ROI, especially on digital
  • Organize reporting, digital presentations and updates to Home Office

Key Accountabilities And Decision Ownership

  • MEDIA STRATEGY: Analyze market scenario, competitive activities, target, learnings from previous media activities and develop media strategy based on the overall marketing plan
  • MEDIA PLANNING: Develop media plan, ensuring execution in line with the agreed strategy
  • ONLINE PERFORMANCE CAMPAIGNS: directly responsible for results generated by adv activities
  • ANALYSIS AND CAMPAIGN PERFORMANCE EVALUATION: Review and analyze competitive activities results, based on defined KPIs
  • MEDIA AGENCY MANAGEMENT: Manage the relationship with the media agency

Core Competencies, Knowledge And Experience

  • Leadership and focus on driving results
  • Analytical skills and ability to use analytics to drive key success metrics related
  • Collaboration & communication skills: ability to effectively involve & engage others (both internals counterparts and external agencies)
  • Experience of direct buy on all social media, on Google, on Amazon,
  • Google full stack: DCM, DBM, DS

Must Have

Technical / professional qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing or Economics
  • 5+ years’ experience, media side or client side
  • Strong experience in online media planning/buying
  • At least 2 years’ experience in data driven marketing (programmatic, data management platform)
  • Experience in complex organizations
  • Fluent written and spoken English, business level
  • Office suite

Marketing Manager Local Production

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development of Media plan for Local Productions in coordination with Media agency and in line with the overall Marketing strategy approved by the Director Theatrical Creative, Local Productions & Consumer Insights ;
  • Coordination of appointed external agencies and suppliers; will guarantee agencies and suppliers meet/exceed all service agreements and deliver on contract terms;
  • Control of Marketing budget for assigned titles and monitoring expenditure level;
  • Regularly review, analyse, report campaign or post campaign analysis reviews, improve delivery, processes and campaign effectiveness;
  • Supervises shipment of TV spots, radio spots, poster to all media vendors in order to meet the campaign schedule;
  • Issues purchase orders and reviews accurateness of invoices through EBP and SAP;
  • Liaises with local productions division, producers and directors to develop creative briefs and directions for marketing materials of Italian movies;
  • Manages the development of all marketing material for local production titles, including: theatrical trailers, one sheet, outdoor, TV and radio spots. Briefing and coordination of creative agencies, following the strategy and positioning set by the Director Theatrical Creative, Local Production & Consumer Insights.

Required Qualifications/Work experience:

  • University degree in Marketing or Communication;
  • 5 years previous experience in similar role;
  • Fluent English, business level;
  • Office package
